Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

• Account Data: We use Clerk for authentication. Clerk processes your login credentials and profile data. We receive your user ID and basic profile info from Clerk.
• Product Usage: Text you submit for analysis, generated results, and saved ideas. These are stored in Supabase.
• Extension Data: If you use our browser extension, it stores your user ID and basic profile info locally in Chrome storage to keep you signed in. When you click "Mine This Page", it reads the visible text of the current page (up to 5,000 characters), plus the page URL and title, and sends it to our API for analysis.
• Payments: Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store full payment details; Lemon Squeezy shares subscription status and billing metadata so we can provision access.
• Analytics & Session Replay: If enabled, we use PostHog to understand product usage and session flows. You can opt out via your browser’s Do Not Track or by contacting us.

How We Use Data

• Provide and improve the service, including AI analysis and idea storage.
• Manage subscriptions, billing, and account access.
• Detect abuse and maintain security.
• Communicate important product or billing updates.

Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the product:

• Clerk (authentication)
• Supabase (database and storage)
• Lemon Squeezy (payments and subscription management)
• PostHog (analytics and optional session replay)

We do not sell personal data.

Browser Extension

The extension only accesses page content when you click the "Mine This Page" button. It does not collect your browsing history or run background scraping.

• Local Storage: Authentication details and the last known app origin are stored locally in Chrome storage to keep you signed in.
• Transmission: Page text, URL, and title are sent to our servers for analysis and are used only to provide the feature you requested.
• Control: You can clear local extension data by signing out, using the in-extension refresh option, or uninstalling the extension.

Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your Supabase-stored data or account at any time.

Security

We rely on trusted vendors (Clerk, Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, PostHog) and industry-standard practices to protect data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Your Choices

• Request data deletion or export by emailing us.
• Opt out of analytics/replay by enabling Do Not Track or contacting us.
• Update billing or cancel via the Lemon Squeezy portal.
